i mean, the ticket prices were already high, but the fees at checkout made it feel way worse. By the time I got to the final total, it just felt really unfair.

I was disappointed with the lineup this year. I kept hoping one of the performances would really pull me in, but most of them just felt kind of weak and forgettable. There were maybe a couple of decent moments, but overall it just didn’t feel worth getting excited about.

I went in hoping for that fun, friendly community feel, but the crowd kind of threw me off. There were a lot of people pushing through without saying anything, acting cliquey, and not showing much basic respect around the campsites or stages. I get that festivals get crowded and everyone’s trying to have a good time, but a little courtesy goes a long way. It felt less like a welcoming festival and more like everyone was stuck in their own bubble. Maybe other people had a better experience, but I just didn’t feel that comfortable there.

I asked staff and volunteers for help a couple of times and mostly got brushed off. It was fine, I guess, but I definitely spent a lot of the time feeling lost and trying to figure things out on my own

Getting inside was probably the most frustrating part of the whole trip. I assumed it would be straightforward since the event seemed expensive and organized, but right away the entry line felt like a mess.

The signs weren’t clear, so people were guessing where to go, and then staff kept giving different answers depending on who you asked. Security also felt kind of random — some bags were searched really closely, while others seemed to get waved through almost immediately.
Maybe I expected too much, but after paying that much, I figured the check-in process would be smoother. Instead, it made the start of the weekend feel stressful and annoying before we even got settled...

I went in thinking it’d be a fun weekend, but the logistics were just a mess. Parking was a mess, the signs were a mess, and every time we asked staff a question, we got a different answer. It really felt like nobody had a plan for getting people in or out. Even simple stuff like finding bathrooms or water stations was harder than it needed to be. For what we paid, it was frustrating. I kept thinking, how is this still so unorganized? Not sure I’d bother going again

I was disappointed. The drinks were overpriced and didn’t have much flavor, and when I asked about them, the staff made me feel like I just didn’t “get it.” Not the best experience.

The art installations were fun to wander through, and some of the immersive stuff looked really cool once it got dark. That said, a few areas felt kind of unfinished, and it was crowded when we went, so I think our timing just wasn’t great. We still had a decent time overall, but with all the hype, I was expecting a little more

I was in a relaxed mood when I visited, and the natural setting really helped with that. The woods are beautiful, shady, and have a nice peaceful feel. The only downside was that getting around the venue was a bit confusing at times. Overall, good vibes, just not the smoothest experience.

We had a fun weekend overall, but I’ll be honest, the bathroom situation made me feel a little misled. I always worry places are going to make things look better online than they really are, and the showers got gross quickly. The camping itself was fine, but I’d probably ask more questions before booking again.

I went to Hulaween and, based on how big festivals usually go, I pretty much assumed the grounds would get trashed fast. But it stayed cleaner than I expected. There were trash cans around, and while the bathrooms did get messy at times, it felt like the staff had a regular system going and kept catching up. The hand-washing stations seemed to run low in the usual busy waves, so those could definitely be refilled quicker. Overall though, for a crowded event, it was decent.

I was disappointed with the sound all night. For a smaller casual event it might’ve been fine, but for this show it made the whole experience hard to enjoy. The stage setup also looked kind of cheap, which didn’t help the vibe.

I went to Hulaween and didn’t feel safe. Someone near us needed medical help, and it felt like it took forever for anyone to actually respond. Staff seemed confused about where to send people, which was really unsettling for such a big event. I also got the vibe that when concerns were brought up, nobody really read or took them seriously. The whole safety setup felt way weaker than it should’ve been. I expected a lot better and I don’t see myself going back.
